All the latest news, gossip, rumours and done deals as attention turns to the summer transfer window

Manchester United, Liverpool, Arsenal and more look ready to make waves in the summer transfer window with just a few weeks before the serious business begins.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is set to be busy as he sets about the biggest revamp at United in years. A new centre-back is high on his priority list with Napoli’s Kalidou Koulibaly, Inter’s Milan Skriniar and Leicester’s Harry Maguire all options. It won’t just be incomings, however, with Paul Pogba a target for Real Madrid. Liverpool could be active too as they look to go one better after failing to win the Premier League title by just a single point. Champions Manchester City are always big players in the market and could go big with the prospect of a potential transfer ban looming. And departures could be as fascinating in the Premier League, with Alexis Sanchez’s nightmare at Old Trafford likely to end with Inter Milan and Juventus fighting it out for his signature – if he drops his wage demands.

We will have all the latest throughout the day right here.

Inter are interested in Manchester United’s Romelu Lukaku in what is likely to be a busy summer for the Nerazzurri.

Lukaku was high up on Antonio Conte’s wish list when he was at Chelsea, but the Belgian opted to join United.

But with Luciano Spalletti under pressure and Conte linked with the job at the San Siro, the pair could finally work together in Serie A.

Barcelona and PSG have been monitoring Man United starlet Angel Gomes.

Without first team opportunities, the 18-year-old could look elsewhere this summer.

And A Bola in Portugal believe the England Under-19 international could be the subject of bids in the coming weeks.

Antoine Griezmann’s future will rumble on for a more than a month at least despite announcing his Atletico Madrid departure.

July 1 is the key date when his contract changes to include a release clause, dropping from €200m to €120m.

PSG are also strongly competing for the France striker, yet Barcelona remain favourites.

A growing number of clubs are registering their interest in Charlton midfielder Joe Aribo.

The 22-year-old’s contract is up this summer and, according to
GoalCeltic, Rangers, Southampton and Rennes are competing for his signature.

His representatives are reportedly talking to clubs and Arsenal have scouted Aribo previously, though they have apparently removed themselves from the race.

Man City are also said to be interested in the player who has scored 10 goals in League One this season.

Spurs have joined the list of London sides interested in Newcastle centre-mid Isaac Hayden, according to
The Chronicle.

The 24-year-old, who came through Arsenal’s youth set-up, has been vocal about his desire to leave the club to be closer to his family in the South.

After injuries hit the Magpies this season, Hayden stepped up and massively increased his value to around £20m and has caught the attention of the north Londoners as well as West Ham and Crystal Palace.

Benfica’s sought-after midfielder Andreas Samaris has signed a new contract with the Portuguese table-toppers.

The Greece international’s contract was up this summer and
Fotomaç was reporting that Newcastle, Wolves, West Ham and Galatasary were monitoring the situation.

West Ham are looking at several options to bolster their attack with the potential departures of Marco Arnautović. Andy Carroll and Lucas Perez.

Evening Standard claims that Manuel Pellegrini’s main target is Celta Vigo’s 13-goal striker Maxi Gómez.

Gomez, 22, has a £43.5m release clause, but will be available for just £22m if his side gets relegated this season, though this is incredibly unlikely with Girona three points behind and 6 goals worse off with only one game remaining.

The Hammers have also been linked with Fulham striker Aleksandar Mitrović and Hoffenheim winger Steven Zuber.

Benfica will transfer-list 21-year-old English winger Chris Willock this summer,
A BOLA reports.

Willock, brother of Arsenal’s Joe and Manchester United’s Matty, has been the target of several Championship sides in the past, with reports in January stating West Brom, QPR, Hull, Norwich and Ipswich were all keen.

The young player, joined Benfica from Arsenal in 2017 has played 33 times for Benfica B in the second tier of Portuguese football this season, scoring 11 goals.

The Arsenal, Tottenham and West Ham target is a key player for the Rossoneri but they are facing major cuts this summer.

Their struggles could also see major players including Hakan Çalhanoğlu, Suso and Gianluigi Donnarumma leave the San Siro.

The race is on to sign Fulham striker Aleksandar Mitrović.

SportBild claim that Bayer Leverkusen want the Serbian, who would cost any potential suitor at least €20m.

Crystal Palace and West Ham are also interested in the former Newcastle player, who scored 11 goals this season, as he looks unlikely to stay with Fulham in the Championship.

Julian Brandt is being lined up by Tottenham Hotspur as a potential replacement to Christian Eriksen.

They are now favourites to sign the Bayer Leverkusen winger, 23, with Liverpool also in the race, says

Eriksen has been linked with a move to Real Madrid, though even if the Dane doesn’t leave Pochettino would still like to bring the €25m Brandt to north London.

Scouts from four Premier League sides were in attendance at Lyon’s victory over Marseille on Sunday.

Mercato 365 have reported that representatives of Arsenal and Manchester United were at the Orange Vélodrome to see former Fulham and Celtic player Moussa Dembélé, who scored the visitor’s second of three goals.

Chelsea, meanwhile, were looking at Marseille’s 19-year-old centre-back Boubacar Kamara and Liverpool had eyes on Lyon trio Houssem Aouar, Tanguy Ndombélé and Memphis Depay.

PSG could swap Buffon for another Gianluigi, as they are targeting AC Milan’s highly-rated shot-stopper Donnarumma.

La Repubblica claims that the keeper will cost the French champions around €55m, with the Italian club facing budget cuts and another season in the Europa League.

Buffon’s PSG contract is up at the end of the season.

Mali international Moussa Marega could be on his way to West Ham according to

Porto have apparently agreed to sell the forward, who has scored 11 and assisted seven goals this season, and wants to play in the Premier League.

The Hammers will have to cough up around €40m to bring Marega, previously linked with Celtic, to east London.

Brighton could inflict a double blow Swansea as Graham Potter wants to bring Daniel James with him to the Amex.

TEAMtalk reports that Potter has told Swansea bosses that he wants to move to the Premier League side and has been trying to convince the young winger to join the Seagulls.

James has been heavily linked with a move to Manchester United but Potter has reportedly told him that going to Brighton would work better for his development as he would get more first-team opportunities.

Everton have been offered the chance to sign Joao Mario from Inter Milan.

The Portuguese international spent time at West Ham on loan a season ago and is set for another chance in the Premier League.

The Toffees would have to pay £15m for his services, according to the Daily Mail.

Burnley have announced Aaron Lennon will be staying with the club next season, while it remains to be seen whether Peter Crouch departs or not.

Winger Lennon, who has been recovering from knee surgery that he underwent in December, has had an option in his existing contract activated to keep him on until the summer of 2020.

That also applies to full-back Phil Bardsley and midfielder Steven Defour, as boss Sean Dyche had already revealed.

An exit from Arsenal?

Stefan Lichtsteiner appears set to leave the Emirates after just one season.

“I see it being quite difficult to stay but we are going to see what happens,” he told the Evening Standard. “I don’t know anything. The only important thing is the Europa League Final now.

“I really want to win this cup and bring this club back to the top level, back to the Champions League and winning important titles.”

Back to Manchester United and they want to add Lille winger Nicolas Pepe.

The 23-year-old Ivory Coast winger has impressed all season and has caught the eye of a number of European heavyweights including PSG, Barcelona and Arsenal.

United can expect a bidding war starting at at least £45m.

Cardiff insist the investigation into bullying claims against youth coach Craig Bellamy is ongoing and dismissed reports that the former Wales international has been sacked.

It was reported on Tuesday night that Bellamy would lose his post with the Bluebirds following allegations of bullying, intimidation and xenophobia by an academy player.

But Cardiff issued a statement on Wednesday morning, saying: “The investigation is ongoing and no formal decisions have been taken.

“There will be no further comment until the investigation process is complete.”
